Sam's Recipe for Wonderful BBQ Sauce

Hi. I am told I need to post more, so here is a recipe for Wonderful BBQ Sauce. I got the idea for this sauce whilst trying to figure out what I could do with a tea that I have. It is a "Smoky Tary" Tea, and is an acquired taste. However, I thought perhaps I could make a Smoky barbecue Sauce with it. And I did. Here is how "You can do it too".

Boil 1 cup water with 2 Smoky Tary Tea Bags. Set aside.
In sauce or saucier pan, saute 1 finely chopped large onion in olive oil, salt, and pepper. When soft and translucent, add
Tea from above
Ketchup (around 1/2 cup, but don't measure)
Mustard (around 1/4 cup, but don't measure)
Maple Syrup for a Canadian twist (around 1/4 cup, but don't measure)
Chili Powder (2 tsp, but don't measure)
Cumin (1 Tbsp, don't measure)
Garlic Powder
Pepper Flakes
Roasted Garlic and Pepper Powder
Lime Juice
(I think that's all I used, but if you want to use more things, go nuts)

Let simmer for 10-30 minutes. Puree in Blender. Use.

Also, makes for good chip dip when mixed with sour cream
